Thread: SELLING GOODS IN PACKS: is this still not allowed, and the pack disappears?
Our PA armorsmith sells like this all the time with no issues. Odd.

hmm... odd indeed! I was informed that the reason why they don't allow packs full of stuff to be sold is because they don't want us merchants to scam people and put bogus stuff inside instead of whatever the customer really paid for. I suggested there WAS this thing called... gee, what was that again... REPUTATION! and that if a merchant did this, it was unlikely he'd be getting much business after. of course I got nothing but the standard "it's intended, now go away cuz we're not replacing your items" response. Now I'm really upset. Since that event, I've had to arrange for personal pickups for my custom-ordered merchandise. this has hampered game play to a large degree as I sit around and wait for people to show up to pick up their goods. Could this be brought up with the devs? I'd really wish there was a definately answer to this one. I'm weary of placing packs on the vendors still, because what if it does happen again? I sure as hell am not betting on getting my items replaced.
Did he have enough space in inventory for all the items in the pack? I always label my packs with the number of item spaces needed (including 1 item for the pack itself)
Also, things disappear for no reason and they get reimbursed (things that are not in backpacks). I had some hides do that for no apparent reason on someone else's vendor. It happened 2x in a row and has not happened since, nor had it happened before. (The person whose vendor it was promptly "fired" her vendor and shouted at the other vendors "did you see that?")
ROFL!!! that vendor has already been fired
