*phew* I didn't think tomorrow was right but it still nearly gave me a heart attack for about 2 seconds.
And whoever said it was right - they should have predicted the response to this and had an almost instant pre-prepared response.
I mean, c'mon, we could get better feedback from a bunch of schoolkids working on a mod for 3 hours a day than we do from SOE.
Oh, wait, that doesn't actually surprise me.
A couple of days wait for even a basic response is nuts.
I'm discounting Garva's "sky and heads" comment here as it said well, nothing really. Just an attempt to stop the fire with a platitude.

Ok, I understand that this was dropped on us late Friday and you've all been off work for the weekend but you've been back at work for a while today.
Surely having seen the outcry the least you can do is get SOMEONE to post here saying "ok, we're thinking about this, we'll sort something out" or "We're having meeting to look at alternatives".
It'd only take 2 minutes. This silence is just being seen as a big "*edit* off" to everyone who's effected by this.
TALK to us - please. It's in your interest to, it's called "Damage Limitation". I'm not expecting a retraction of the patch or an alternate fix this quickly, IWOULD like to know that you actually acknowledge the outrage this has caused and are looking at alternatives.
Doc - if you're hounding the Dev's over this then just let us know you are!

Won't happen for a couple days I think.
I am still waiting for this promise to be kept "We will communicate more, we will communicate changes more, we will communicate more." They gave us their word that they would communicate major changes to us.
You know a man's word is all he has in this world, once he loses that, he is worthless....seems to be fitting for the whole Dev Team in my eyes.

TH should have had a canned response the moment they posted those notes. Yes we are looking at how this will affect things, but it is only test center. Things will be modified before they go live.
But to post the notes, then delete them, and no response at all, regardless of how worthless a response is unacceptable.
