Ok.. We all know that this nerf is coming up in the form of the item cap. While there are some very good changes in this publish this is definitely not one of them. I'd like to draw attention to this post because the number one reason I've been given as to why these changes are taking place is due to database management....

Ok.. So.. we can see here that it isnt just database management. I'm going to step out on a limb here... SWG is an amazing game when it comes to the economy.. It's, in effect, a real world model (since everything is player driven as far as goods). Now.. It is true that there are certain crafters on every server that are well known, well respected, and well stocked. This contributes to the economy. Think about the other case... What if every business in the world was run out of people's basements... you have less organization, less adaptability, less functionality... This analogy is exactly what the SWG economy will become if these changes take place.
Messing with a game economy to this degree is very risky. The lassez-faire policy comes to mind here.. SWG has run fine with these crafting giants and the little guys for over a year.. Why mess with it now? Feel free to comment further on this...

This feels like a 1-2 punch by the devs to me. Hit me 1 with the macro nerf, hit me 2 with the merchant nerf, and I'M OUT. Crafting is one of the things that's kept me playing this game, why are they trying to mess with something that ISN'T broken??? STOP THE NERF!!!
