Thread: URGENT Pub 10 bug!!! Do NOT retrieve your items from one vendor to another!!

Normally if you have items in a stockroom that were withdrawn from Vendor A in your shop, you can retrieve them from the stockroom in vendor B.


I did this just now and got the message "you cannot retive this item as it no longer exists" or somthing of the sort, and the item 'poofed'.Not in the stockroom, not in my inventory.


I'm sure that there is going to be alot of vendor juggling today, please be carful. I hope its just me or there are going to be a TON of lost items today

I did not experience the described behaviour. Server Kettemoor, Planet Corellia. Vendors are inside player city limits and located inside merchant tents. Master Merchant, four vendors. Retrievals from Vendor A done on Vendor B worked well, items could be retrieved as well as immediately sold again - even showed up on the right vendor.

You should put this into DocSavage's offical "Issues"-Thread anyway.

Yes file a ticket on it immediately and put it in the Issues thread so we can keep all this stuff together.

I'm really sorry to hear about your item poofing.

I would like to say I have also been able to retrieve across vendors safely today (several hundred items), so the bug would appear to be random. I wouldn't have risked it though if I had read your post. Thanks for warning us.

I successfully retrived a satchel offered to a vendor in my house from a vendor in a tent in the same player city.

Come to think of it, my client locked up shortly after receiving transaction email....

Did similar things last night (Vendor in the basement retrieving from vendor upstairs) and everything seemed to work OK.

Erm,I remember doing that before, but lately (pre-10) it seemed like I couldn't. *shrug* I'll try again tonite with some droid batteries or something.

I lost 3 million credsto this damn bug I lost 30 BER:13 Harveters. They all went poof.

Thats a known bug since ages, and you will get your item reimbursed. CSR know that case very well.

Edit: has nothing to do with retrieving from another vendor. It just happenes, thats it.
