Thread: This marketplace is unavailable is this a bug?

I've read through the bug list at the top of the forum but couldn't find any info on this, so apologies if this is an issue that's been covered before. I've recently mastered merchant and set up my first shop at the weekend. First of all, after initialising the vendor, adding maintenance etc, I noticed that as I put up my products up for sale on the vendor, the icon for the product in my inventory didn't disappear. I got round it by just keeping a note of which items had actually been put up for sale, relogged when I'd finished stocking and my inventory cleared. Strange. Anyway, I registered the vendor on the map, added the customised ad barking and went off to do something else for a few hours. When I came back to check my vendor, I keep getting the message "This market place is unavailable". I waited for the server to reboot and checked again this morning. Same message. I'm now unable to do anything with this vendor and can't access the stock I've placed on it (15 million worth).
Before I write a ticket to the CSR, has anyone come across this problem before and is there a way of getting the vendor back to normal (and retrieving my stock)? It's taken months of hard work to get the resources together to get this stock made and some considerable time to master merchant - is it all in vain? Will I lose all the stock I've made?
Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

i lost a crate to that bug but the csr gave me the value back in credits
but the down time only lasted about 5 minutes and i lost the items cause the "market crashed" while i was putting em up for sale

You can try putting up another vendor beside it, initialize, put in a little maintenance, etc, then see if you can access the items by region from the new vendor. Hopefully you can withdraw them into the stockroom and then retrieve them. If this works, then list the items on a different vendor, and get rid of that bugged one.
That's all I can think of that might work. Good luck

I've come across the problem with things you're placing for sale on your vendor not immediately disappearing from your inventory. I've had it happen twice, both times with brand new vendors. If you hit change view in your inventory, and return back to your normal view things should normalize.
I filled out a bug report on that one a little while back.
As to your other problem, I've never had anything like that happen, so my best advice would be to file a ticket on it. Having a list of what you placed on it will be invaluable if you've got it.
