Thread: WARNING, RETRIEVING ITEMS BUG

Well, seeing that they changed a lot of coding with vendors today I decided to go test the bugs. Went to one of my vendors and hit retrieve for 6 crates of muon. I only had 3 slots in my inventory. Before today, I would have retrieved 3 of the crates and then I would have gotten the message that I could not retrieve the other 3 because my inventory was full. Instead, today the other 3 crates of muon were vaporized and disappeared into thin air. They were not retrieved into my inventory and they are no longer on the stockroom of my vendor. So don't go trying to retrieve more items from your vendor at once than what you have room for in your inventory.
After I did this I tried retrieving 3 more crates at once with my inventory full and I did get the proper warning that my inventory was full and I could not retrieve this item. Those 3 crates remained in the stockroom on my vendor.

That happened to me too once, when i bought Medium Harvesters, 3 of the 10 poofed.
Wrote a ticket, a CSR looked at it, said he can confirm that the transaction was made, and placed 3 new BER 10 harvis in my backpack.
I think it has something to do with Lag...

Wow, a one star for trying to alert other players and developers of an obvious bug. I submitted a /bug report too, but I figured that players would want to know before they accidentally poofed some of their items.

Happened to me too in the past, the only problem is that the harvesters i
received form the CSR somehow changed over nigth to BER4 instead of BER10
so i had no use for them anyway lol

Ignore the stars ..
Thank you for bringing it up. After a publish it is a good idea to make note of any oddness that might indicate serious stability issues.

I'm getting this too, only its not me that being affected by it, its my customers. they buy somthing, goto retrieve it... poof. No item, and they loose their money.
so far this has only happend with one vendor of mine near Mos Eisley. Its a Quarren NPC. the other vendors in my tent there seem to be working fine.
