You took a totally fine profession, besides the need to get rid of all the empty vendors and broke it. And im not talking in a small way. I should be able to manage 9 vendors 2750 items. Yet it tells me im over vendor limit. i have items that came down in stockroom. Im afraid to grab them because 1. I couldntsell them if i had to. 2. i couldnt store them if i had too. 3. ive read of items going poof when removing them and cant take the chance. Now this leaves 2 weeks that this hopefully gets fixed by or i lose alot of resources, cash, and time. If this wasnt bad enough,No merchants show on planetary or on CNTL M. Can someone tell me why i pay to have 4 accounts anymore?
Word of advice for anyone Reading this:
If there is something that is not broke or not being exploited. Please leave it be. Whenever you try to fix something you take 1 step forward and 8 steps back. This isnt the first time youve "fixed" something and wont be the last im afraid.

Hmmmm funny, people taking up merchant only to drop it and keep all their vendors with unlimited storage seems like something was being exploited to me.

I have the same problem as you do with the vendors telling me i'm over the limit ect when i know i'm well under my 1750 item cap with 3 vendors out of 5, this is a bug (i hope) and with any luck the devs probably know about and will patch out the fix soon.

ditto..my alt has merchant management 2 only has 2 vendors with less that 250 items total...but get message i have too many vendors

Maybe it was an exploit. But at least it WORKED!!!!

I admit I had a vendor in my house called Maid which held hundreds of clothes. because it seemed like a better way to store clothes instead of taking up house in house lots
