This is completely based on IF the sales tax ever works again.

With the fact that you will be able to purchase items from someone's vendors from any bazaar how will this effect sales tax in cities?

Soyou can buy a product from some bazaar anywhere at a certain price......but when you go to pick it up, were does the city tax go?

Im all for the new change.....but the effect it will ahve on us politicians and the finanicial problems we are already having in our cities this is going ot make it even worse. The fact that people can buy items cheaper on the bazaar than in the city is not going ot be good for the tax base that we create.

Anyone else forsee this as being a problem in some way?

Well structured has nothing to do with it.

ITs the fact that sales taxes havent worked in over a year at least......and when it seems that maybe something is finally getting done about it....something like this comes out and takes away the fact the cities can fund themselves finally.

If city taxes arent gonna be taken out when they are bought from the bazaar....then we still ahve to do the same thing as in fund our cities on our own still.

Frankly, im tired of paying for the city, when taxes should be taking that burden. Thats what they were meant for, and even though it seems that they will be fixed....its kind null if taxes arent gonna be taken out still.

Dont know if that makes any sense, as im pretty tired right now. Long day.

Please debate pros and cons....

Has anyone with a Player City on TC tested this? We *know* sales tax works at 10% (the only percentage it does work at). Could someone with a Player City on one of the test servers set their sales tax to 10%, have someone list an item on a vendor in the city, someone remote purchase that item, and then see if anything goes into the city treasury? If they had copied Naritus, I'd be glad to do it myself, but since they didn't I don't have any way to actually test this.
