I have this thread running in the economy/buisness forum and if you would like to comment to help out that would be great. Basically it is about helping to eliviate trash email saying auction unsuccessful providing us advanced detailed reports and possibly providing us an automatic renewal system that will prevent stagnation of items and people who have abandoned their vendors.

Why would we go to the Business/Economy forum to discuss a Merchant Profession feature?

Because the devs don't listen to merchant ideas so it really doesn't matter where we talk about them?
(I know, I'm not helping)

I opposed the creation of the Business/Economy forum on the basis that it would just create two different places for merchants to have to read about their profession.

placed it in there to get it out and posted a link here to get more merchants interested. Want to get the regular people to read it as well. Don't visit this forum much so I don't know how much traffic is in here

While you do have a point about merchants reading more than one place, there are quite a few more issues of economics that are not merchant specific that get talked about there. You just have to try to filter through all of the "Economy sucks/Economy is fine!" talk from people with no concept of economics.

If it were heavily moderated to prevent Merchant issues from being posted there I wouldn't oppose it. But it isn't and topics there range from non merchant concerns about loot prices in the Auction Channel to Vendor suggestions and "please nerf the merchant profession out of existance" threads.
