Thread: Newbie bazaar errors
If there were a confirmation box on the fee forbazaar sales, it could save newbie's some scarce credits, and reduce the number of silly looking bazaar offers that clutter up the listing. The text could read something like:
"Do you want to pay 20 credits nowto list your <item description> on the bazaar for 7 days? This will not be refunded if the item is not purchased, but the item will be moved to "available items" and available for your retrieval for an additional 7 days before deletion. You might wish to check forcompetitive pricesunder <subsection name>inthe <section name> section of the bazaar before making this listing."
This would save the poor newbies their last few credits when they try to sell their tiny packages of hideor un-experimented CDEF thinking that the fee is only subtracted after the sale. I did that myselfmy first day, and ran myself broke trying to make money. I think newbies are missing the fee message in a noisy bank area, or just don't know what the deal is when they try it the first time.
It might also reduce the number of PITA listings that the current bazaar display has no way to filter out. I thought they would go away, but I still see the 1 unit of common gemstone or hidefor 1000 credits. Worse yet, I see a lot of items without UXP listed wellbelow the bazaar fee. The poor suckers are not making anyone's life easier.
Of course, there is no need for this on a premium auction. Paying the extra 48 credits for a premium listing would at least save me a click, even if there was no other visible benefit.
