Someone asked me whats good about being a master merchant..
I had to think for awhile and all i could come up with is that I get 6 cool looking vendors and I am able to put my shop on the map.
Is there anything else I could of told him thats worthwhile?
A very quiet protocol droid.
Ok..that is the second time I've mentioned that in as many posts..can anyone tell I'm not happy about the droid thing???![]()
Yeah, you can sell anything in game.. you have reduced fees to place goods on world vendor.. you can put 4 to 5 vendors on diffrent planets......
As long as you have a master in crafting on ANY tree... merchant is worth it.
Ive sold over 100k from my vendor in 2 weeks.. and thats when i wasnt online.
If you cant be online every second of every day... merchant is great.
In context it is good for a Master Architect but probably not worth it for anyone who isn't at least a master... And probably not very good for a chef or tailor or even just master artisan. Tailor is debatable but the economy for them is having death throws. Used to sell enough on Rori to pay vender fee's. Now I am grouped up with a chef and sell maybe a few items a week and I know people visit because they buy all mypartners food. But my tailor isn't a master either and people seem to have stopped buying wardrobes and accessories.
Also not worth it if you have limited time to play and only need one vender. Good for people with lots of time and resources, and cash... as well as an appropriately popular profession like architect but not worth it for most others.
It is good though if you can get free training and have free skill points left. =)

Are you saying that you made 100k credits from you vendor in 2 weeks?
I make about 300k a week from selling things on the bazaar and thats when I wasn't online. ![]()
