Thread: Items stuck on vendor/Customizing vendors appearance/Ad-barking/Advertising on Planetary map
Does anyone know what the deal with merchandise getting stuck on vendor in the stockroom after someone buys something or after it has expired?
Also I'm suppose to be able to hand a piece of clothes or weapon to my vendor and it suppose to hold it or wear it, this function doesn't even appear under vendor control. Do I have to take down vendor and replace with new one?
Ad-barking worked the first time I enabled it and now it doesn't work any suggestions anyone?
Advertising on the planetary map worked the first day and it hasn't showed up again since.
As everyone can see nothing seems to work within this profession or is it that my character is having problems would anyone let me know if these are problems that everyone is experiencing.
Also I have summited bug after bug since this game began and good ones not crap and not one of my bugs has ever been addressed, I have not received any response from anyone at all what is the deal with that?
Doesent work.
No, doesent work.

We know, read any thread at random and you will see the same thing.

Ad barking and Planetary listing both work, you just have to reset it every single day.
You can dress Wookiees, if that's a comfort.
Hiring four (the vendor dressing) is being fixed in an upcoming patch, as is the issue with selling resources from NPCs being bugged. They're also introducing shop signs. So with some patience, soon you'll be able to dress them (though you can't dress Ithorians). I believe they said there will be an option on the vendor that will explain how to dress them, so as soon as that appears, you know it's been fixed.
Regular visitors to shops generally know they have to hit retrieve twice per item... but if you're selling resources from NPCs then there's no way most can retrieve them.
We must find a way to make customers (and our fellow merchants too) aware fo the standard buyer's tricks to get vendors to work properly and not be dissappointed.
1) On the vendor window, choose the "local vendor" instead of "region". Every time.
2) Refresh is your friend.
3) Always retrieve items twice. Ask, cancel and ask again.
4) After making purchases don't leave the shop immediatly. Sit down and log out/log in to avoid losing the items till the next reboot. Or worse.
Users on vendors do not see this option, only the vendor owner gets these options. The buyer only sees what is on that one vendor.
