Which means the hiring won't happen for 2 weeks more (at least) -- they can't possibly hire this person without Q interviewing & approving them, right?

Which means the correspondent program continues to be a name, not a program.

Disappointing. Not surprising, just disappointing.

If you'd read the post, Q said he's interviewed several people, and they'll have a second interview with the development team. They can certainly do that without Q. I still don't see them hiring anyone for a week or two, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.

I think your assuming too much, we have no idea how they do things, or how they work.. Surely they have done something to keep everything afloat. They couldnt just say "aww to hell with it" and leave it be...
