Thread: Placing vendors in other peoples houses
Hello all.
Ive built up a nice business at my shop oustide of Coronet, and would like to offer more services to my customers.
I've recently been building a good relationship with an armorsmith and thought it would be neat to let him set up a vendor in my shop to draw more customers.
My questions are these:
1) How do I set it up so that another person can place a vendor in my house?
2) Does that count against my character in any way (vendor count or house item count)?
3) Is there anything I need to be concerned about with doing this?
I appreciate the help of the experienced Merchents.
Make them an admin in the house. They create and place the vendor. I belive you can now remove them from the admin of the house and they can manage their vendor just fine.
No it does not take away from your count or your house count.
If you keep them an admin I guess you would have to worry about them taking items from the house *shrug*.
Yep, alot of people, and those malls, do this.
Just put them on the Admin list while they place the vendor then take them off.
It doesn't count anything towards you, they just place the vendor the way they do in their own house.
Don't leave them on your Admin list unless you trust them the way you'd trust anyone you leave on your Admin list.
Where do they pull the vendor from? Do they have to pull the vendor from their own home terminal or can they pull from my house once they have admin access? We've been trying but can't seem to place or initial his vendor.
Could someone post a simple walkthrough for us? We'd like to give this a try.
Thank you so much!
