Thread: Planetary Natives as Vendors?
I had an idea this morning on the way to work, and I wanted to see what other Merchants think of it. I am a little disappointed in the selection of NPC Vendors, especially at the Master Level. I thought it might be interesting to be able to place vendors that are "natives" to the planets that they are on. So for example, you could place a Gungan vendor on Naboo or Rori, or a Selonian or Drall on Corellia or Talus and the best would be a Jawa Vendor on Tatooine. I'm not sure about some of the others, Dantooine has the Dantari and Endor has the Ewoks, but do Lok, Yavin4 or Dathomir have a native race? Actually, I don't know if you can place vendors on Lok or Dathomir, so it might not matter there.
It seems like it would be fairly easy for the Developers to implement this since the character models already exist. And it would give Master Merchants something cool to place besides a Protocol Droid. If I could place a Jawa vendor to sell used droids and old vehicles, I'd be a happy merchant!

Umm having your vendors EAT the patrons is rarely a good business strategy.
