I'm not sure if this has been brought up on the forums before because I don't troll the merchant one. I would like to see something done to allow people to sell wares to private parties. For example: Allow people to place vendor's in private structures and let people easily add an entire guild into the access list. This way, you can have your normal price vendors in a city mall and have discounted vendors for guildmates.
Another method that would beless complicated isto add a restriction option to the vendor itself. This way you could place it in an unadvertised location for private party use (away from advertised vendors).

Initially, vendors in private structures was allowed, then (in a certain publish - I don't remember which) it was removed. Why, I don't remember either.

It was removed because people were using the vendors as private storage units and not selling things with them. We have asked for the ability to direct sales to certain people.

one method i use in my guild shop, is i put a cap entry fee of 50k and added the guild to the entry list so they dont have to pay it..but anyone else will if they want to get inside. (no the house isnt named like a shop so is not dishonest before i get flamed for doing this, and the vendors dont bark, nor are the on the map) that being said anyone outside the guild has no business getting inside anyway...

Hmm I hadn't thought of that...

Yeah, sounds like a good workaround. Something I didn't think of. Thanks.
It would still be nice to have a more controlled methof of going this. I guess I'll just have to thank the ones that ruined it for the people who would use private vendors for legitimate sales instead of storage. Ohh well.
