For the item limit, do items in backpacks count as 1 item? Or will it count as 1 + Total Contents?

I am guessing that it will only count at one item because that's what it seems to count as now. With that said, my best guess here is that you are an armorsmith wanting to sell full suits of armor in backpacks? You may find that hard to do (if this isn't the case, just ignore the rest of this). I've purchased full sets of armor in backpacks twice. Both times I ended up with a product that I was less than happy with. The first time, the resists on my new composite armorwere somewhere around 30-40%. The second, the encumberance for a single layered composite suit was in the high 900's, with my focus and willpower encumberance at 980. Unless people can see what they are buying, they are less likely to trust that the items will be what they want.

Actually, I'm a tailor that does a lot of custom business. I'm wondering if it's worth keeping a vendor around just for custom orders, prepackaged outfits, and possibly component sales.

I understand the armor thing, though. Gotta watch out for people ripping you off.

Ahh...tailors probably have the biggest reason to be upset with the nerf. With the amount of different types of clothing and colors available, you want to keep a large selection up for sale. Just for example, if you want to stock clothing in 10 different colors, you could only have 66 types of items for sale at any time. And that would have to be spread across 6 different vendors. My partner is a tailor, she has 3 boxes to go before she qualifies for master now, and she has a wider selection up for sale than the change would allow her. Absolutely rediculous.
