Instead of this nerfing the Merchant class and trying to free up databasespace.
Why don't they introduce drought and famine to the SWG universe ?
Introduce an all-planet drought or famine where nobody could mine anything and acquire resources for a week or 2. Crafters and grinders would be force to use up some of their hoarded resources and hereby eliminating some resources off the database. I know it needs refining but thats why its an Idea

So instead of 6 months to gather good enough resources for your armor it takes 12 months?
The problem isn't resource hoardes otherwise they would give us a break and stack the resources in a number greater than 100k statcks.
