I have to point out a couple of things.
First, CH is as gimped as it is now as much because of advancements in buffs, weaponry and armor as it was because of nerfs. A 14k HAM Rancor (or two) is a LOT nastier when you have no armor, a scout blaster, and Neutron Pixie for buffs than it is when you have 80% comp, a 545 max T21 and 2.5k buffs.
Second, the CH nerf, ultimately, affected only CH's. This merchant nerf, howerer, affects everyone. If it goes through, merchants (crafters) are going to be quitting. Those that stay will have a far larger burden, not only because they'll have a larger customer base, but because they'll have to restock extremely frequently if they want to have anything close to a chance of serving their customers. Goods will become harder to get conviniently, prices will rise, etc. etc.
In other words, there's a major difference. Instead of going "hahaha now u kno how it feels!!!11", please pitch in your support to get the devs to see reason and up the limit to something like 300 per vendor at least.
Thank you.

The details are more extensive then this, but it boils down to 110 items per vendor at master merchant, or 660 items total. For many large sellers, this is simply not enough...some armorsmiths I know stock this much on a single vendor alone, for example. There is no way to "work around the system."
Merchant is not worthless. Without merchant, there are no vendors, and there is no easy and convinient way for you to walk into your favorite weaponsmith's shop and pick up a new weapon, your favorite armorsmith's shop and pick up a shiny new suit of composite, and your favorite chef's shop to pick up some more vasarian brandy.

It does NOT effect only merchants.
If there are NO merchants, who is going to sell you your precious 80% comp armor?
Who's going to sell you your uber weapons?
Who's going to sell you your clothes for the City Event comming up?
Who's going to sell you your Doc Buffs?
Who's going to sell you your Brandy/Canape/etc.?
Who's going to sell you your Brandy/Canape/etc.?
This effects everyone.. I will not be standing around at my vendor all day long replacing 10 items that were just sold, because I can only put 110 items on at a time.
1.) Go back to school, and pay attention in English. You might learn something called "punctuation."
2.) Crawl back under the rock you came from.
3.) If you don't know what you're talking about, don't use up SOE's precious bandwidth, or their server space... god knows, if they can't even fix their own forums, what makes you think they'll fix something in the game?
