By no means do I think the proposed item limits on the vendors is high enough. I'm Master Merchant / Master Doctor, and a recent run I made of just Health and Action wound packs put 80 items on a single vendor. No way 110 is enough at that rate.
(Side Note: I once read somewhere that 1000 item factory runs was originally a fluke, that 100 item runs were all that was intended. Anyone think this is the beginning of a move back to that level? I mean, 110 item limit might not seem so low if we were limited to 100 item runs. Only 4 crates of Wound packs anyone???)
Anyway, if we must take some form of item limits, I think they need to sweeten the offer a bit and give us something else we can use. I for one think that just as the vendors will be limited based on Merchant skill, the Bazaar should be as well. Let everyone have their current 25 items on the Bazaar (hey, even those are tied to Vendor Offers
). Then perhaps take the current item limits and apply then to the Bazaar. 50 Bazzar items at Bus3, 60 Novice Merchant, etc. Up to 110 at Master Merchant.
Also, we need the max dollar amount on the Bazaar raised again. The cap needs to be at least20,000 credits now. Why? Well, these item limits will basically eliminate my ability to sell single items on my own vendors, and I will need to resort to crate sales only. So give us a dollar amount so we can sell more singles on the Bazaar. I know I could sell my individual buff packs with a limit as high as 20k, and I believe most Weaponsmiths could sell their goods within that cap as well. This would also provide us a very good advertising option for crate sales back on our vendors.
Finally, the crafting side of me thinks we need larger crate sizes now as well. Just pumping everyone up to the 100 items per crate I enjoyed with my Structure Modules as an Architect would be a good start.
OK people, assuming we are going to get stuck with some kind of item limit on the vendors, what sort of concessions would you like to see in return?
