I think a very good addition to the merchant tree would be the ability to make "personal pickup" vendors... a special vendor where every item in it can be designated to be picked up by a certain individual. Would work the same as a normal vendor except when you list items it also asks for the name of the person the item is for.

Then when that person comes to the pickup vendor, the vendor filters the items that are for them.

I've often wanted a feature such as this myself. It's OK if the person in question has vendors of their own, but that's not the usual case for me.

Now, I'm a droid engineer as well as a merchant, so perhaps I'm biased, but I think that we should be able to make delivery droids for merchants that perform this exact task. Heck, let advanced delivery droids be capable of interplanetary travel, and let's really get this thing kicking.
