Ok i am a master dancer and master medic going for docotor and comabte medic and i have enough xp for pistoleer now, so my choices are limited and i was wondering if a master merchant is really a fun proffesion. i hate crafting but i love the idea of making money off of selling other ppls stuff. so my question is do you think it would be wise to quit maybe pistoleer or doctor and go for merchant and just have fun with it or is it more of a job then a playtime experience? Thanks for all your input and i really play the game for fun not to power game.

well others may have a different experiance than me but i am finding it harder and harder to be a pure merchant as opposed to just selling what i craft...goods are getting hard to come by

• People are leaving the game. sorry but its the truth. many who arent leaving are now on about an hour a day...i have to find a new supplier once a week...

• the factory bug,,,,people are using factories way less...those that are stil crafting are doing it by hand and its harder to find "wholesale" prices"...many that are using factories are lowbies and the quility just isnt there.

its really like someone at SOE really want sto just kill this game....nothing ever seems to get better

Well I would not want to 100% endorse it or 100% say no, so here is why I am a Merchant.

I love the selling, buying and trading...I buy most of my stuff from the bazaar taking up peoples quick sales and every now and then taking a risk on something. My shop has just opened and it will probably run at a loss..I am a Pistoleer also so I keep afloat quite easily with missions....I also try to take missions that could drop Mission disks and treasure maps as these are by far the best drop loot I have seen.

If you think you are going to make a fortune as just a merchant I would say...maybe, maybe not but if you have fun then go for it.

Try it out, get Business 3 and place a vendor in a house and start off selling bits and bobs, it can be fun or it can be boring...depends on the player ( I hate crafting but know people who think it is great and do nothing else..I also know Bounty hunters who laugh at me (friendly comments like half a character ) for being a Pistoleer/Merchant.

Good luck what ever you try....The last piece of advice? Surrender those skills slowly incase you want to go back!!

Thanks all for input i had business three and use to be a armorsmith and a weaponsmith but i couldnt take the tell hell or the crafting so i think ill just ask other ppl to sell my medical supplies for now but thanks all this is the kindest proff of ppl i have seen so far hehe i will keep posting though cuz you guys are so nice well ty again for input.
