I haven't seen many posts on this but here goes:

I had my wookie wear and over 100 items vendor go completely missing two or three days ago(today being October 3). I had 4 vendors at the time.

I did untrain selective hiringwell before that time but believe I have found the issue:

1. All my vendors, while still saying 0 maintenance, but had extensive damage and required repairs. I have had the same amount in them for 4 weeks and no problems(I do have efficiency II).

2. I deposited 1000 creds into each vendor but the repairs did not happen that day. Damage still showed

3. After the next server reset the repairs were made. Maintenance=0 .

I believe that the vendor decayed due to no maintenance because the server reset and started charging maintenance fees. The vendor has not reappeared after two server resets so he is gone. A CSR has responded with various questions but no help offered yet.

My questions: Vendor fees are not implemented yet for efficiency two users yet? I

know they are coming but I had no warning of this(thank goodness my smallest vendor got wiped!).

Has this happened to anyone else who can corroborate my theory?

ADVICE: Keep a good chunk of credits in vendor maintenance even ifit is 0. You might lose it if the above is correct. And keep checking it. I admit I got lazy but I still feel like this came out of the blue and is a bug...

My vendors on Bria have been turning invisible and unaccessable all week. I know they are there. The one that advertises on the map is still showing up. One time it took a day for them to reappear, one time it took an hour.

I have been bugging and putting tickets in since it has began. I get so frustrated I have to logoff for a while. That is why I am here right now...

The 0 maintence doesn't really mean 0. They do use a little up, so you need to keep their maintence pools up still. If you don't give them any money, the damage will be slow, but will eventually destroy them. It's not a new change (they've always charged a tiny amount at 0), and so your vendor disappeared legitamately. Not due to a bug.

You wouldn't be entitled for your stuff back or compensation. The CSRs can't really help you, as they won't replace things lost when it isn't due to a bug. I'd suggest just chalking it down to experience, and making sure you don't let the maintence pool drop to nothing again. And making sure you check the status often even if you think it has enough money for six months, just incase it does wipe the maintence pool or increase rates suddenly. It's also a good idea to ask here before taking risks.

3 of 4 of my vendors dissappeared on Thursday , one of 2 of my sons vendors and our droid engineers vendor. So I dont think its about maintenance. Its definately a bug. I keep my vendors paid up for at least a week in advance.

I know how you feel about losing your stock ,its a bad feeling. I had just put 7 sets of Composite on my vendor and a vendor full of armor made with special segmets ie; Krayt , voritor etc. But losing the stock isnt really the problem as much as losing your customer base. I have had my customers ask me if I have given up my armorsmith skills, or if I was moving. Hard to keep everyone informed.

I still have had no reply from a CSR but am hoping to get one today.

Vendors can disappear due to bugs, but the way the original poster described it was as though he assumed 0 meant he didn't need to pay maintence, and hence they decayed. That's not to say they can't disappear due to bugs. It's just that sometimes it isn't due to a bug. Much like house disappearance. There are a few poor souls that lose them to bugs... most just forgot to pay.

One of my vendors went missing sometime between thursday and today, I know that I had several hundred credits in him, when I checked earlier this week. and I'm a master merchant. I'm not sure if they have accelerated the vendor costs, but when I looked at some of my other vendors they where at 0 maint and I have always checked to make sure they were above a couple hundred credits.

Has anyone else noted a change in vendor fees this week?
