Thread: Returned Items From Vendors satchel was yours magic too?
After that recent hotfix where theyrecovered some of the items which vendors had eaten (the 14-days-and-your-items-vanish trick), I logged in to find a satchel called "Returned Items From Vendors" dropped into my equipped backpack, with 6 items inside (which I must admit I'd not even noticed had poofed).
"Oooh," thought I, "let's see if I can rename it, I like satchels!"
Nope.
"Ah well, at least it's a useful little container to keep, I guess."
*Puts items for sale back on vendor*
*Puts crafting and repair tools into the satchel and hotkeys them for easy access*
Nothing unusual there, life goes on as normal.
Then I was organising my packs last night (replacing crafting tools with 15.00 effectiveness ones) and happened to bring up the radial menu on the satchel, here is what I saw...

I figured it was just some kind of bug and so thought nothing of it, just told a friend and we had a laugh - then I figured I may as well see what the option did... I clicked on "Travel to Tatooine" and for a second nothing happened, then it portalled me to Tatooine like a shuttle would. ![]()
Not sure if it was Mos Eisley or Mos Entha, I checked the satchel to see if the option was still there, which it was for a few seconds (kind of like the slicing option sticks after a slice, but doesn't actually do anything), then it vanished ![]()
I did a quick search on the forums but didn't find anything like this - did anyone else get a magic satchel? ![]()
I am almost certain the option was not there originally, it only appeared last night.
Read the notes on the launchpad - since loads of people have inventories too large to accomodate a travel ticket after the item returns, they gave these bags a single use 'travel to any planet' ability to allow you to get back to your vendor so you can re-list your items.
It only works once however.
Ahh, I do recall starting to read that bit, but my eyes glazed over a little as it didn't apply to me.
Serves me right I guess ![]()
