Merchant Archive

Has anyone seen players shouting this out at the space port? I have had a few people come up to me with these offers. Is this some kind of scam? Is there really a way to master merchant in 2 hours. BTW they wanted a lot of credits before they would help me... I figured it was a scam so I didn't pay.

What do you guys think?

I've seen the manner to do it posted on the forums. I reported it to the moderators as explaining how to exploit. Very sad

How in the world could you do it? It sounds fake.

Itwas able to be done and is an exploit. It involves setting the timer on your house. But thankfully I tested it the other day and I believe they fixed it. Can someone else back up whether they fixed it?

I am not going to tell you the exploit. You can put furniture in your shop without merchant skills, so I am not understanding the question. Merch Xp is gained by having your vendors up over time. You also get it by customers viewing your vendors. The last way to get vendor XP is to set an entrance fee to your shop and you will get 50XP everytime somone comes in.

Umm... I sale it... people come buy it.... that's what I do being and architect and all. Well, the questions been answered anyway, it's not fake. I can't believe they have such a big bug in the game!

That bug has already been fixed for the next publish..it will be gone next week.

So do you set access fees on your house and run in and out or something?

I just have really needed furniture in my shop, I don't even need access fees. I leveled to novice in 3 days and leveled to an extra vendor in about a day.
