im new to merchant /vendors , i was playing my brothers account since he quit about a month ago. when the cu went live i had to relist each item individually in order for the stats to display properly .. he had 2 vendors , one had a bunch of his crafted weapons for sale and the other had a bunch of ca's, aa's ,resources + misc items pearals crystals etc ... i didnt bother with the misc vendor right away and focused on his weapon vendor trying to re lists items etc... well , i logged on one day and noticed and email saying "please place an item for sale b4your vendor is deleted" , i went to the mall and saw his weapon vendor was there but the misc vendor was gone .... a good chunck of his valuables were on there prob 100mil + worth of stuff all gone . this happened about 2 weeks after the cu went live .

i wrote the vendor "deletion" upas a loss and moved on .. i wasntgonna wait around for a csr answer, for 2+ days so i bent over and took the long hard one from soe. i suppose had i known how to operate a vendor i could of prevented this but i was learning as i went ... since that night i have gotten more merchant and placed 2 more vendors , one was ideally a storage vendor , the other im slowly moving weapons to from his 1st vendor ...its a slow and tedious process ,too much micromanagement for my liking ..so is the whole crafting scene to be honest.

now tonight i got another message saying one of the vendors will be deleted again , it doesnt specify which one and im not sure what i have to do to prevent it this time ?? as i craft weapons i move bags of resources from his vendor to storage to my inventory , and then relist it for 99999999 .. so no one buys it ... im not sure if i leave items in storage does this cause the email saying my vendor will be deleted??

thanks for any help..

1 - Using the radial menu on the vendors, check their status. Make sure they all have maintenance. I've personally had vendors decay to 100% without ever getting a note, but that could still be the problem. Feel free to put in an abundance of money, you can always pull it back out later.

2 - Had you just placed an item on an otherwise empty (nothing for sale) vendor? The mails are reversed; when your vendor goes empty you get mail saying it's now working, and when it starts working again, you get the warning mail. I'm guessing this is what happened.

3 - The mail should state, "Your vendor Vendor: Weapons has not been used in quite some time..." blah blah. With the part in bold (my boldface) being whatever the name of your vendor is.

4 - It's possible he has vendors elsewhere that have gone empty. The only way to test this is to figure out how many vendors you're allowed to have, and then place dummy vendors until you hit that limit, and do the math. (If you can have ten vendors, but you only see nine in front of you, there's a tenth one out in the world somewhere.)
