Thread: If i spec high in merchant then drop to 3-0-0-0.......

If i spec high in merchant then drop to 3-0-0-0 will my merchants still be able to have custom clothing, will my sign on my house revert to the normal one?
not to concerned with the number of merchants just wondering about the added things, even on advertising 3, which im planning on keeping, but if one did untrain it, would your shop disappear from the map?

if you drop advertising then the vendors will dissapear from the overhead map. As for the clothing on the vendors and what not I believe that they will stay if you drop hiring 4, although if you end up with more vendors then your limit you will not be able to manage them until you delete some to get to your vendor limit which would be 3 at 3-0-0-0 i think. hope this helps.

I thought they stayed on the map. Unless this was changed or I was bugged? There was a point where I dropped most of merchant, but my vendors stayed on the map.

well it was a guess on my part, i cant say for sure have never tried it

Id be more worried about not being able to respec back after and having all of your vendors saying "over vendor item limit" or worse losing items over your current limit.

I dropped merchant completely with respec, but all of my vendors are still on the map. I did not lose anything, except the ability to list new merchandise. So nothing disappears, you just have to have the skills when you initially list items. And once everything falls off, I'm sure the vendors will disappear after a week or two weeks or however long it is. Just have to retrieve everything before then.

Clothing stays and you can still operate the vendors.

I chopped and changed merchant skills. Dropped ad campaign and there still on the map, and ive heard that if you drop merchant the vendors stay as they are. But if you do drop it, can you still list items and pay maintenance into them?
