Thread: It says I am creating a vendor but there is no vendor in my pack

After I read Docsavag's wonderful guide to getting merchant expI went to lay down my first vendor to start the merchant exp grind. But now I am stuck. I tried to create a vendor but it did not pop up in my pack. I tried it again and it says it is creating a vendor. 
I have logged out several times now but it did not help. The home is my own and after a week and a day of decorating the large cor home there is no way in hell I am redeeding it to see if it fixes this bug. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have already tried everything else I can think of.

You don't have a vendor elsewhere un-initialized do you? That would also cause you to get the you are already creating a vendor message.
Otherwise... a server reset or even getting a hold of CS thru a ticket and asking them to reset your vendor count might help.

Double check your inventory. I know it sounds silly but a vendor I created ended up in the middle of my stuff (not at the end where I expected it to be) and I believed it hadn't been created. Luckily I saw it before calling the CSRs, I would have felt really silly 
If it has indeed ended up in limbo then the CSRs should be able to sort it out withoutyou needing to redeedyour house. If you think it might be a bugged structure panel do you have admin to any other house? You can easily find out if that is the problem by trying to create one using another building's panel, although I doubt that is the case. When it comes to vendor creation problems its normally the character that gets bugged!
