Howdy all
I've been a Master Merchant for months, and am embarassed to even ask this question, but here goes. I need the answer, so I have little choice.
Wasn't there a time when we could give Vendor Rights to someone? Allowing them to place in our homes, without having to put them on Admin list?
Has that been taken away? If so, I missed it. Not suprising if I missed it, since I didn't utilize it, but now I need to know for a Mall.
Vendor RIghts still around? Or just Admin now. Thanks for your prompt responses beforehand.

You can not allow another user admin rights on a vendor. At one time there was Vendor rights on houses, where you could permit another to place a vendor, but that was removed. You now have to use admin rights.

It should be noted that as far as I know the vendor rights to a strucuure never really worked properly. The admin rights were busted too when we went live but got fixed a few weeks later. I think the real reason for the "Vendor" right was to allow you to access the "Create Vendor Menu Option" but since you still had to have admin rights to drop it I guess they decided it wasn't worth maintaining in the code.

Ah, Doc! Thats right! I remember when it basically gave more people places to "make" vendors, but it didn't let them place. Thats right! I remember now.
Very good memory, Doc. And thank you to all those that posted (fine Eclipse folk especially).

You can stand and watch them place their vendor, then take the admin rights away. Unless they are willing to rob you while you watch, that is just as good.
