I couldn't see any mention of a limit to vendor items in the publish message on TC. The new bazaar cap is mentionned though. Is it on purpose or was it just forgotten?

No it will be in the Feb push. They delayed it one push after all the negative responses.

Yes the latest I have heard is "probably" February. That means they plan to do it on the next publish but you can never predict these things because something could happen to push it back a month.
We should get word on what they are planning for this in the next couple of weeks.

I still retain some merchant skills, even though I'm not as active as I was before. And this publish just irks me.
The change to the vendor pre/post initialization menu MIGHT actually be a fix for vendors not initalizing...might not.
It can be argued that raising the bazaar price cap is a nerf to true merchants.
The one fix I would normally applaud for being a fix (merchant xp being consistent) really at this stage is only helpful to those hologrinding the profession...a process I'm wholly dissilusioned with.
Apologies for the bitter post.
Great News for Chef's though!
Find a chef today! Use your skills to get in on both sides of that supply chain: providing ingredients and being an outlet for food!

The fix for xp was actually in the last publish. I don't know why it got repeated in the patch notes.
The initialization change...I don't know I was still able to get a vendor to fail to initialize last night. I am trying to do it consistantly so I can help them track it down better.
As for the bazaar..well it was only a matter of time. They obviously feel it will decrease the number of resource crates that will be sold on the market by making each indifidual sale larger. We'll see.
