Am I just to stupid and can't see the obvious "easy" way, or does it really suck as much as it does right now for me?
Following situation:
I am a shipwright, and to be better able to reverse engineer loot, I "store" the loot in my vendor for 1000000 per reverse engineering level, so I can sort by price and therefor by level.
now I have 2097 unsuccessful auctioned loot items, and I have to restock them, manually adjusting the price on every item, and always waiting for the item information so I can see what the reverse engineering level is (to figure the price).
After some time, I realized that it takes me more than 10 seconds for the whole operation per item, that are almost 6 hours!!!!
Any "better" way to do this?
Thanks for the help!

Yes. Store your reverse engineer components in your house instead of on your vendor. Sort by backpack in your house (or by house if you have a lot of parts) instead of on a vendor. Vendors aren't intended for storage.
For your other question, no, there's no good restock button. It takes a long time to restock a vendor. It's one of the things we're trying to change about the vendor interface though.

I've been making powerups, so I know about vendor annoyances ... dozens of crates of 10, all the same, and I have to deal with them one by one. Even being able to select more at once would be wonderful. As for the OP, retrieve your items and store them in labelled backpacks or something. 50 might be awkward, but surely 10-20 wouldn't be a problem ... so you could even use lesser storage items.

The only thing that's made it easier for me is to restock right before the items actually drop into the stockroom.
A few days before they expire, I sort all items by price, remove all same-priced items at once, and then restock them. I pick the next-highest price and do the same. Shampoo, rinse, repeat. That way, I avoid having to type the price for every item -- Ijust type it once for each price level.
It still stinks, but at least it's faster and I don't have to see each item's details to do it.
