I would think browseing thru the trade forums would give you the best estimate.
It varies by server so greatly, and by which item hold what mod even more that there just isn't a general pricing guide to go by.
No resources used, no crafting time, if you make money from the mission you took to get it , then it would all be pure profit anyways.
Wish i could point you to a better system , or hope someone here has one, but looking at your own server trade , forums, and vendors will give you the best idea.

Honestly, I make a guess.
I base the price on how much it cost me to acquire it and what I perceive its rarity to be.
If it sells quickly, I price my next one higher.
If it sits forever, I lower my price.
Eventually I hit an equillibrium and that's what I sell all future items for.
Remember those little "Vidscreens" that were part of the CoA act 2 story?
They were more common than CDEF pistols dropping off meatlumps.
I hoarded 150 of them. An entire house full of nothing but Vidscreens.
When they stopped dropping, I started selling them.
I started at 15k each.
Then to 25k and eventually to 100k.
I sold my final two for 1 million each.
Two weeks ago, someone gave me another one.
It sold for 2 million in less than 24 hours.
If I ever sell the one I kept for myself, I'm not letting it go for less than 10 million.
Oh, and I never advertised any of these. They were just random things sitting on one of my vendor.

Cool thanks Elyssa that is exactly the kind of input that I am looking for.
I would like to hear what other peoples stratagies are as well.

Please do not bump threads. It is against forum policy:
Threads that are bumped will be locked regardless of the threads content. Frequent bumpers may be banned from posting on the forums. (Bumping has ALWAYS been against the community policies, there are specific forums where this is more "overlooked" [eg: the trade forums] but if it is abused it will be locked also)
P.S. I also think the best way to find out things such as this would be to post on your server trade forum or visit vendors on your server to compare prices.

Guess I get to say it again..
Please do not bump, it is not only against forums policys but a great way to get a thread locked.

sorry about that I was meaning to bump a thread on the Trade fourms asking the same question I just clicked the wrong one in my bookmarks.
It wont happen again.
Just to clarify a little bit I am looking for what people's stratagies are towards the pricing of these types of items, I'm not looking for specific prices. I just want to get some ideas of some of the methods people use.
thanks again for all the help so for and sorry for the bumps.
