Thread: Vendor Names Chitin

Why can't I have the word Chitin in my vendor name? I would like to sell Chitin Armor from this vendor but it gets rejected by the filter. It looks stupid to mistype. I have searched the forums and a ticket was filed back in '03 about this but obviously this was not resolved. I'm sure it's a simple thing to fix so why hasn't it?

It's probably on the word filter for some mysterious reason.
Try "C H I T I N"

Because we are apparently not supposed to give our vendors names that would actually make sense or be relevant to the items on them. Heaven forbid I be able to name my "Pharmacy" Vendor "Medical Supplies". I get noobs every day that ask me what the heck a Pharmacy is.

Uuuuhhhmmm... I think these people need to get out a little bit more.
Yeah, I can't use the word Wookiee in my wookiee wear vendor either. Who knows. Maybe "chitin" is just a little too close to a word of similar sound describing what one might do a few hours after eating copius amounts of hot wings and beans. *shrug*
