You cannot retrieve items from player vendors 100% of the time. You cannot retrieve items from the bazaar 100% of the time. Until they announce that Vendors and the Bazaar have been fixed. Play the game as if they don't even exist yet. Don't even use them. They will eat your money and resources and leave you with nothing.

Good luck devs. I'm excited about playing a Merchant, and I hope we will have a safe way to sell wares in our own shops soon.

I can get stuff out of both, and do all the time.

As long as the player vendor is not bugged (Well known issues). I have noted that retriving stuff directly relates to LAG/CONNECTION issues.

a lot of the time is what I do is right click retrieve on every thing then hit the close button as it tries to get it. And then right click details and click retrieve on the detail menus. It usually gets it for you right away. I am never able to get stuff on the first try. I have to retrive it a second time using a different retrieve button

I can seldom retrieve an item the first time either. When it seems to hang on the "Retrieving Item..." window, I just hit escape and click Retrieve again. 99% of the time, the item will be retrieved.

Ocassionally, I have to wait a minute or two after buying the item before I attempt to retrieve it. This appears to be the lag issue previously mentioned.
