I'm desperately looking for a way to make 150 merchant xp. I'm a Starsider armor crafter whose house/shop got poofed into limbo with last night's crash, and my 2 possible vendors were in it. sooooo... my ability to staff my new temporary house on naboo is nixed because i'm 150 xp short of taking management 1, so i can get an extra vendor while i have this shop. (until my original corellia house is restored or i'm given my lots and vendor slots back).

Is there any other way of making merchant xp besides having a vendor, or charging someone 1c to walk into my empty future shop? I feel dorky putting a price on my shop when there's nothing inside it =/

Yep 2 possibilities..

Redeem Faction points for XP...

Or

Set an access fee on another house, and get a few mates to pay it.. I doubt this will work as I bet you only get MXP for the access fee if there is a vendor in your house ???

The FP method would definately work though....

FP to experience is 1:1 if your a Human.

1:2 if your Bothan / Wookie.

or 1:3 (1 XP for 3 FP) for all other races

*Note* I think I got the races right above...*

Rebel FP trade is always 1:1

Imperial FP trade is 1:3 for wookies and one other class

Thanks for all the help everyone! got my points late last night. My husband paid a 1c access fee several times over the course of an hour, and got me my points =)

now, to remember to take the darn fee off so people can shop again!

Maybe try the turn faction points into experience thing? Have never done this myself but you should check it out. You would have to be a covert imp/reb for this and some faction points, and I'm not sure what the ratio is for faction points to experience.
