I have 2 vendors in my house... I'm re-organizing and I cancelled all the items on one vendor, and when I go to the 'warehouse' to retrieve them, it gets stuck in a 'retrieving item' loop. I can't get any of my items!

I have like 100k in minerals sitting on there I can't retrieve. I've read some threads regarding this but none apply to my situation. Any suggestions?

Actually, some do apply, I just read more. I've tried the each item retrieve/cancel down the list then start back at the top, doen't work.

Its happened to me and a Weaponsmith friend a couple of times. It is a bug. I have sent in service tickets several times and they return to me as unread. I have to say that it is most likely that your resources are lost to you forever. My condolences.

Try this...

retrieve item.. gets stuck on the retreiving item... hit the little x in the corner then immediately hit retrieve again. I can almost always get my items this way.

Additional info:

Switch between the item's "retrieve" buttons that appear on the mainlisting and when selecting the item to view it...then try selecting "retrieve" from that window.

If you try to retrieve something on either window, and it doesn't work, just switch to the other retrieval method.

This works for me everytime...but it is extremely annoying to have to do this.

Bah. I've got dozens of items stuck in the stockroom. Some were items offered to my vendor which I purchased, some are items which have timed out.

My bazaar has like 200 ITEMS stuck in Available Items, these are from an NPC vendor with a full inventory that I destroyed, because it was easier than the painful process of trying to retrieve them from the vendor.

NPC vendors are the Merchant's most basic and important tool. How about some help on this?

If these were NPCs and you didn't pull the resources out of your harvesters in the EXACT quantities you were selling, then your resources are gone. Right now, resources sold on NPCs and then retrieved will retrieve the whole quantity of what was on the vendor.

So if you have 3k ore, pull it out in a 3k chunk and then split it into lots of 500, the person who buys and retrieves the first lot of 500 will actually get all 3k in their inventory. The remainder of the sales still show on your vendor, but are forever irretrivable. It's a known bug and the CSRs aren't reimbursing for them.

The Vendors Terminals, however, aren't subject to this bug. They're working properly, it's just the NPC vendors. Yes, i know everyone loves to use the NPCs because they're broken and only cost 1 credit. So you have a choice. Either retrieve all your resources from harvesters in small lots, or use the non-broken vendors.

As an aside, don't expect the NPCs to only cost 1 credit too much longer. Raph posted on another gaming board about that recently and said, "Yeah, expect that to get fixed soon." Ah well, we knew it was coming sometime.

Was the non-retrieval problem ever formally addressed by a dev? I've had to tell a customer to try the basic method now, and I hate seeing someone get frustrated at my store. I hope it's on the agenda to get fixed when they *ahem* fix the maintenance costson the NPC vendors.

I also have a form of this problem. I accidentally deleted a vendor of mine with items on it about a month ago. Since then, any new vendor I create will not let me access the storeroom. Anything I withdraw is lost... No word from CSRs except for, 'the dev's will have to look at this'.

They might still show up in your Stockroom but if you delete a vendor without retrieving all the items in it then they are lost forever.
