Thread: Why do we have to destroy our terminal vendors to move them
I'm pretty sure you CAN move them -- you just don't get a radial command to do so, so you have to use the /movefurniture and /rotatefurniture commands.
The syntax is:
/movefurniture [back/forwards] (units of movement)
example: /movefurniture forwards 10 (will move thing a short distance forward, directly away from you.)
/rotatefurniture [left/right] (degrees of rotation)
example: /rotatefurniture left 90 (will turn the furniture 90 degrees to the left)
I think we should be allowed to remodel our stores and move vendors even when they are initialized, but for god sake why can we not move terminals like all other furniture. The /move comands do not work, it says you need to pick up the vnedor... but we can not do that either. So the work around is to remove the vendor. UGH!
/rotate works, why not /move?
If I am not mistaken, there was a bug in beta that allowed anyone to go into a house to pick up a vendor and move it or walk away with it. The fix was to make a vendor have to be initialized and then it was planted firmly in place so noone could move it.. They have stuck with that since that first fix..
WHY?
