Thread: Surprise!
Just saw this dated August 25 on the Test Center Forum. It was in response to someone posting about the resource split bug with NPC vendors.
I see all...
Ok, not really. I'll make sure it's on our list.

Um...happy that this is getting some attention. But, how could they have not known about this bug? The merchants have described it in detail, repeatedly, since week two, if not before. I suspect that hundreds of CSR tickets and bug tickets have been sent regarding this. All of them LONG before August 25!
I'm really trying to be patient about this. It's a huge game, and incredibly complex. But the things that are NOT being addressed from the merchant's perspective are most often simple things. Our boards are usually rather polite and constructive compared to many others, and our correspondent has done a wonderful job of communicating clearly and concisely what it is that needs fixed. (We've even refrained from whining about all the "empty" skill boxes in our class, including Master, until the fixes get in.)
For a long time I was thinking that we should be patient, and play the class we want to play, they'll get to it eventually. But the comment by Vass that he's just noticing this on August 25 makes me start to believe some of the others who think Merchant is being treated as a **edit** step-child.
My apologies for not 831|\|g 733t and 0wnzoring joo! Come on, deliver on the promise that SWG wasn't going to be another shoot-em-up world where the fastest exploiters and the biggest guns win.
I saw that too....
I can understand that they have multiple teams and perhaps that person hasn't seen anything about the split resource problem.
If so... it only says bad things about SOE.
a) there are so many bugs no one person can know about them all
b) there is no communication between the people who are supposed to be reading these boards and the people who are supposed to be fixing the bugs
c) they know about the problem and it simply isn't important to them
