Thread: Descriptions disappearing
Hello fellow merchants, as a pure merchant I have my suppliers leave me offers of their wares on my venders. This system works great and all is well in my shop. I recently started selling droids and happily put some up for sale.
However, as some of you may know, by looking at a deed it is impossible to tell what modules exactly have gone into a droid so there is a lot of potential for ripping people off. My Droid Engineer takes the time to write out a item description for every droid she creates listing everything that's in the droid etc etc.
When I purchase the droid from the offer page and put it up for sale on the vender the description disappears. This is a real problem for selling droids as now the customer has no idea what they are buying. The DE likes the idea of coming in and dropping stuff off, but is kinda upset (and rightfully so) that her descriptions are going poof! I could ask her to send me a detailed report on what went into each droid so I could tell customers, but I travel a ton and am not in the shop all day long.
Has anyone else had this problem with item descriptions disappearing when buying it from the offer page on the vender? I have no problem giving her admin access to my shop so she can drop things off and I can pick them up and sell them then give her the credits, but we'd both prefer to do it through the offer page.
Any and all help, idea's and thoughts are much appreciated on how to get around this.

This has always happened, and there's no easy way to cut and paste the descriptions. (This has nearlyme nearly INSANE....except that the 7 day sale limit on vendors had already gotten me there.)
I make arrangements with crafters to name the deeds specifically. i.e. "Adv Probot 2xArm4, Med6" or something of that nature.
