I was just recently appointed the "Product Distributor" or my guild (a.k.a. Resident Merchant) and I was wondering if you can change the signs on PA halls from the bland and dreaded Address Sign to something like, oh say, a #2. So uhh...yeah, can you?

Yep, I've done a few already... I'm actually making a business out of it... charging about 2k per sign...
It seems you can modify signs on almost everything... though there are a bunch of buildings that have buggy hookpoints for signs, such as backwards facing signs or hookpoints tha are sunken into the structure or even ten meters or so away from the actual building...

Aww...thanks. Actually I noticed that with my new generic house (forgot type). The sign appears like 10 meters or so in front of my door, thus floating in mid air. Me and the guild leader had a laugh but then I had to change back to the regular Address Sign. So yeah, thanks, I should be doing that this evening. And I best get paid well *shakes fist*
On a side note, a position such as this in any guild is quite an adventure into the possibilities of merchants. I'm planning a mall which I will have to set up by myself to, well, distribute products that the guild crafters have made (as my title implies). It'll be tough but I'm not gonna let them slack a single credit on what I deserve

Good luck with that, our guild is planning something similar and should be set up rather soon... I'm just dreading moving all that stock... *shudders*

What was failed to be mentioned, in order for us to change signs and charge fees on OTHER people's buildings, they have to put you on the Administrator list of the building. Anyways, on most PA Halls, it puts the sign on the far corner of the building where no one sees it.
