I'll say this in advance, please forgive me for this newbie post.

I'm not a merchant andI have no idea how the profession works.

I have seen numerous signs near player houses and always wanted to get myself one.

Not the buggy ones floating in the air, but the cone-like mechanical structures with binking lights sometimes.

I only found out 10 minutes ago that they were made by merchants. LOL

Anyway, I have a few questions.

1) Would I be able to place a sign outside of my house even though I don't have a vendor inside it?

2) Can I just buy one from a merchant and place them the same way I would buy and place a house?

3) Is it possible to rename what the sign says or is it set when you create them?

4) Can I put multiple signs up in one area so it looks like an airport runway? LOL

5) How much are they?

If the answers to 1-4 are "yes", and the price isreasonable, I will definitely be looking for a merchant that can make some for me on Bria!

The signs are not something you can buy. They are available to merchants on the structures radial menu and we select which one we want the house to use out of the 5 choices. The chosen sign, then replaces the regular house sign.. so no, you can not put a bunch of them out there in front... its one sign per house(well except for the bugged signs that detach and float there forever).

To get a sign in front of your house you would need to have a merchant with admin access to your house. You can have a sign without a vendor though. So if you know a merchant you can trust then you could work out a deal for a sign.
