I have a few vendors and do bazaar sales...I only get email when logged in the game...my mailbox goes empty evertime i log in...

This has been going on for 2 months...since the BIG PATCH

I havent seen any mailin over a week

I just logged in and made like 30K this afternoon...but i have no idea how...what items sold, what might need to be restocked or what item is more popular than another....

I wish Margie would make this a priority and hound then devs and the test center people to get it fixed...SOEis acting like there is no problem...

I am afraid to post this issue in the main forum as it will just probably get locked by Jeassa and she'll ban me or tell me to post in tech support, who lock the threads there and tell you to post in SWG discussion or fill out a bug report which crashes the game now.

You are not alone in what I call the "empty inbox syndrome"!

In addition to the issues you've already raised, not knowing who you sold to also prevents you from being able to do any "after the sale" customer care and communication.

Here is a "work around" that I have come up with that at least gives me somewhat of a mechanism to track my sales and not miss emails.

At the end of the evening when I am done playing, I put my character on AFK sampling. I am in the central tiem zone, so I set my alarm clock to wake up at 5:30 AMbefore the server reset at 6 AM CST.

I then go in, open my inbox and record any important information onto a memo sized legal pad on clipboard kept on my desk just for this function. Entries like:

• smithbought X for # credits


• joe wants crate of powerups with particular stat combination


• etc

Forgot to postthe second half of my work around.

I wait until 7AM CST (when server is normally back up) and log back in and start AFK sampling again. This way I can catch any email received while I am at work.

Sometimes it doesn't work, for instance this morning the server was still "loading" when it was time for me to leave for work so I will not get any of the emails sent to me during the day.

Does this have to do with being online when the server resets in the morning? I haven't had this problem but I stopped doing overnight afking a while back.
