Thread: Vendor XP stuck at 29,950, anyone had this?
Well, I've been eagerly waiting for Advertising III so I can get my vendors on the map. The problem is that my XP has been stuck on 29,950 for over 12 hours.
I've had many people visit my vendors, I've had people buy things from my vendors and I've even replaced a vendor and no luck, still stuck.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Unfortunately this is a VERY common problem.
The merchant XP system seems to spontaneously stop and start on its own. I remember once going over a week with no XP.
There are some old wives tales on how to fix including add/removing a vendor ... switching to the juke box vendor with the high maintenance fees ... etc.
Basically nothing you can do about it 
The evidence I've seen seems pretty clear that it is related to getting effiency skills that lower your NPC's to 0 maintenance. Adding a terminal that charges maintenance has been known to fix this. Give it a try and let us know if that works for you.
