You really expect us merchants to give you advice on how to 'fly through' grinding our profession only to drop it and then possibly exploit your vendors?

Trot on.. merchant is not for you.

sorry if that seemed rude, it was.

If you want to be a real merchant, we can help you. If you want to hologrind it.. then just read the damn posts that are here, because we won't.... I personally hate hologrinders because they only give merchants a bad reputation and they exploit our vendors after dropping their skills.

I'm afraid you are in for a shock if you are looking to fly through this profession. Merchant, the sampling line of Bio-Engineer and the investigation line of BH are probabley the most time intensive trees/profession in game. There is no way to "fly" through any of these. On top of that the only way to macro Merchant even is with the help of a friend or alt.

That being said please have the respect to take down your vendors when you leave the profession.

dang all u people dont have to be so dang rude all i want is to get to advertising 4 to have my droid out so i can go hunt and master swordsman i am not even a hologrinder gesh **edit**

We appologize, but the way your post read it said "I'm a hologrider" all over the place. Hologrinders are one of the worst exploiters of our professions, and thus we won't stand to answer most of their questions.

The best way to grind is through the Managment branch to lay down as many vendors as possible. XP is gained over time for having them out and individuals opening them up to check their stock. XP is also gained through enterance fees in houses.

Best suggestion, parallel crawl up the Management line, gain additional vendors, place them, gain additional xp for having them placedto move up the Advertising line. Surrender Management and extra vendors once you have what you need.

Its basically what I'm up to for Advertising IV.

Geesh DUDE The only dang reason i need to get thur merchat fast is to be in my towns mall and have a decent vedor and to have my droid do the work for me i anit no damn hologrinder DUDE cut me so damn slack

Do you type with a baseball bat?

First, you come in here, typing barely readable text, asking to fly through the tree. In the amount of time it took you to type out that message you could have read the Merchant FAQ, which lists how to get Merchant xp. You would have quickly noticed there is no macro available, since it is based on time, amount of vendors, vendor browsing and access fees.

Add a little creative thinking, and you may just find a way to speed that process up with a few friends.
