I contacted a CSR about this, hoping something could be done. I was using a friends factory who is away right now and I forgot to pay the maint on it and now it is condemned (with a full run of tissues in it
) Anyway, the CSR told me that it was as intended, so the only one that could put maint on harvesters/factories that were condemned would be the owner. And that soon the condemned stuctures would decay and fall as intended. I'm really hoping that he was mistaken. I cannot find any information on this. If anyone has any other info on this, please post on it. (just for info: The /pay command does work inside a house)

Condemned structures are working as intended.
Only the owner can make payments on them.
As for the rest of it, there's a thread about this over in the architect forums where I did quite a bit of testing on what works and what doesn't.
It's pretty obvious to me that the /pay thing for non-condemned structures is a bug, though.

I wonder why it is a so big deal that it doesnt work anymore...
i mean, as i understand it you "should" have like only 10 building max (10 Lots), that each cost maybe 2k daily ... whats the big deal to have to pay once in a month (or a week) with the intended interface?
But then i am someone who uses the shuttle droid, instead of /bo tr ....

as many crafters and 'miners' and 'farmers' are such low CL speed is of the essence when you structure is in the middle of spawn.
so the method of driving by dropping off,slash commandpaying, and taking off was literally a life saver.
that is the top big deal off my head {mind my 3 factories are set around my workshop just to avoid such things, so interface is whatI use}

Personally,I have macros built that will pay to run a harvester for 7 days depending on the size of the harv.
It saves time trying to remember what those numbers are.

Why dont just pay for 1-2 Month and add more in a quiet moment?
I bet it would help the economy if it is more discouraged to lot trade...

I don't want my money tied up in harvesters where I can't get at it.
I keep active control of my structures and don't pay very far in advance.

If you have a few hundred harvesters, you don't really want to radial them
