Thread: Disconected after clicking Sell an Item
Just a theory, but does this usually happen after you've been standing in front of your vendor for awhile?
In other words, do you ever run right up to the vendor, then quickly select to sell an item, and have the game disconnect you?
I guess I'm wondering if you're actually getting disconnecting for the game thinking you're away from the keyboard, because you're not moving. I would recommend going into CTRL+O and selecting the AFK tab on the left, and make sure the "Mark as AFK" setting isn't at 10 minutes. In fact, just uncheck the "Automatically mark as AFK" option completely.
Again, just a hunch, but sometimes if you're standing around for too long and not doing anything, you'll end up getting disconnected (in other words, you see the character screen).
The reason I suspect auto-AFK is the culprit is you say you get disconnected, but not necessarily crash to desktop. I'd imagine if it was a serious issue, it'd crash to desktop, not just disconnect you.
Try disabling the auto-AFK and see if the problem surfaces again. Probably just a coincidence that you've been hitting the "Sell an item" button and get disconnected at the same time.

He has roadrunner cable internet.
Of course, he'll get disconnected in the middle of a fight just as easily.
He's been dealing with it for 2 years now.
He has, however, recently moved and claims it doesn't happen to him at his new house (with DSL), but it's too early to tell for sure because he's only lived there for a few days.
On the other hand, a full day without multiple disconnects is phenomenal for him.
