Anyone found this out yet? I haven't seen any feedback on test that describes it.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure I read in the patch notes that the merchant cor would get an extra 2 points. So you'd be a 14 point merchant. It all works out in the end.

At least this one isn't a merchant nerf. So I'm pretty excited about the patch. They may be trying to cripple crafting, but at least they're focusing their energies away from merchant for the time being. Kind of like that cheesy eye beam thing from the Lord of the Rings movie. The crafters are creating a distraction for the devs, so they're less focused on 'helping' the merchants. Usually when they try to help us, we end up on our butts.

So I'll take the +20 hiring with a smile thank you. It doesn't sound like it'll hurt as much as the other patches...

Does this mean I can have Hiring III, go get the buff to give +20, and then drag/drop clothing or armor on my vendor to customize their appearance as could a merchant with Hiring IV?

Not likely. I suspect it will only allow you extra vendor choices. But, you never know. I cant believe no one on TC has tested this yet.

Jedi will never be a starting profession...Looted items and quest items will never be better then crafted items, this is not a loot based game...CH will return shortly...CH and BE will not be back in game...Rangers are getting their revamp next!...The stealth system will not be changing in the spy expertise...Need any more examples of things the devs said that did not hold true?

I've never known if the ability to dress your vendors is tied to the hiring mod or if it's specifically from that skill box.

I've never really thought about it before but that's a good point.

I think Master Merchants with the buff should be able to produce the most hideous vendors possible!

Doh! We already do.
