1 quick question if you dont mind.

Back ground Info;

Ok i'm a master merchant, and I have all my venders as Humans andI decorated them in Storm Trooper Armor at great expense. Enter real life, whenI go on vaction I usually like to travel andI normally take off off for a month.

This leads me to ask; WhenI do go on vactaion, obviously I wont be able to stock my venders or check up on them. What would happen if my venders sell out on my 3rd or 4th day gone? when I get back I'll no longer have any venders? That means I'll loose all the maintenance money on the vender plus the 1.5 million credits each set of Storm Trooper armor I have them decorated with. Will SOE replace my factional armor that I have placed on them? IMHO the empty vender deletions timeframe is too bloody short.

I'm not about to change the way I take my vacations just for a game.Loosing my venders is just unacceptable. So could you ask the Devs what I (and others in my situation) should do?

Thanks.

If this is the case an easy fix that I can think of is to load some low level item like a 10 sided dice on your vendor for 999999999 credits.

I still don't agree that this is a good fix for you problem, but one that would work until you can get a better answer.

Yeah, better use that trick now while you can. The way things are headed the devs are going to cap the price range on vendors to something under seven or eight digits. Another idea is to have a friend 'offer' you an item once a week while you are gone. That shouldkeep the unused flag part of things untriggered.

Hey Correspondant, I still have yet to hear your responce to this.. I know I can cheat the system and get away with it, like all the DB'd guys at theed using /bo tr..

But I feel I haqve a legitimate question reguarding venders and would appreciate a responve from you. or the Dev's

"hey correspondant" might not be the best way to encourage me to respond to you.

I've alrady posted elsewhere here in the forum that I don't like the way this is currently working. I've asked for a response from the devs ande they are looking at it internally. If I get a response I'll relay it as soon as I am able.

Yea sorry for using hey correspondant, i know you are just another Joe player like the rest of us. Frustration has gotten the better of me lately, For me its alot of hastle trying to look up every single thing that is JAFU in this game. It seems that everytime there is a GFI and the dev's implement it, the true repercussions are not noticed or felt untill later. I Get so angry, 10 patches now and each patch has messed me up, its getting old.

But the length of time for venders to go poof is too short. I have gone back and read some of your issues with merch, you pretty much hit all the issues I've had in this profession.

1st) the correspondant is just a normal player like you and me

2nd) there are about 200 threats about that topic, how about doing a little search yourself?

3rd) he's working on it, but he didn't get any answer about that matter from the Devs so far.

4th) a Threat title a bit more informative whats inside is always good
