Thread: Question about getting XP for merchent PLEASE HELP

i put my vendor in my house the other day and put 10000 for maitance but i did not put anything in it for sale i thought if you just put vendor down i your house and actavate it uou wold get 150xp hour i did not get any XP?

All you need to do is place the vendor, that is correct. However, you only get the XP when the vendor is loaded into the game world, so if nobody visited the vendor in the last few days, all you have to do is go to it and you should get a huge sum of pent up XP.
I think it might only be 100 XP per hour, but I'm not sure about the exact total.

Nevermind, it is 150 XP per hour. I should read the stickys at the top.......

Yes, you get 150xp per hour per vendor for just being there. You also get 50xp per person viewing a vendor per 15 minutes (you only get the xp once per person per 15 minutes no matter how many vendors he browses) and you get 50xp per visitor if you put an access fee.
If you have enough skill to set access fee i would set it for 1cr for 15minutes and then put on your house sign that you are trying to get merchant xp... I know I have passed houses I have walked into just because of that sign to help out a fellow merchant. Also as your guildmates and friends to visit and browse your vendor whenever they come or leave the city
