I am about to go on vacation, and I have a lot of stuff up on my vendors, 3 vendors each with over 200 items. Typically each day I get 3-5 auction unsuccessful emails. Then there are the days were I got 50 of them from when I have put up big runs of items.
Other than withdrawing and resubmitting each auction, is there anyway to check what will expire shortly? I am going to be away from the game for 9 days. It would sicken me to lose a few million in inventory since I was on vacation.

You can examine the item on your vendor by double-clicking it. The expiry is listed in that box.

Ouch, so I have to click around 1000 times to check everything?
Any chance we can ask this be added to the vendor UI, and have the ability to sort on expiration date?

yuck, that stinks! I was hoping against hope there was an easy answer to this question too Goliath. I just got back from about a week off and had tons of stuff in my stockroom. My major problem is i have four vendors on two different planets and hate having to go to each one to find out where an unsuccessfull auction comes from. I wish at least they could put what vendor dropped what in the mail they send out.

Why do you need to know which one? You can put the items back up for sale from any of the vendors. It will go back to the vendor it came from.

I had the same situation, going on vacation for nine days, and worried about expiring items. Luckily, I was able to time the vacation with a planned shop move. It wasn't a fun way to spend a Saturday, but I was able to move the shop and in the process, reset all the sales. Killing two vynocks with one stone, as it were.
It really is problematic to leave for more than a few days if you're a crafter/merchant. You got to work like crazy to stock up before you leave, fret about expiring sales/poofing items when you're away, then work like crazy again to restock when you return. With rest like that, who needs vacations?
But it was all worth it, as the skiing on Hoth is wonderful this time of year. That place is the best-kept secret in the galaxy, if you ask me!

/agree we need a "time remaininig" column on our vendors so we can sort by it and thus easily see what is going to soon expire.
